New Leadership To Deliver Results for Our Township
I have resided in Center Twp my entire life, attending Center Township Elementary School and graduating from Butler High School in 2009. I attended Edinboro University before returning to Butler to manage my family’s business, Butler Gymnastics Club located on Route 68.
I am a lifelong member of the Democratic Party, and I believe with my background as a small business owner, as well as having a fresh, youthful perspective on our community, I feel more than ready to tackle the issues facing our township now and into the future. Our campaign will be based on being a representative voice for every resident of Center Township.
While I was running for State House, I had the fantastic opportunity to meet more of my neighbors in our township which gave me the chance to hear what their biggest concerns were for the community.
I heard an overwhelming number of folks express their desire for public outdoor recreation areas in the township. Now that we have seen what a pandemic can do to a community, the time is ripe to look into creating places where people can get some fresh air and enjoy some time outside.
The other issue I heard people talk about is the need for innovative business development along our “Main Street” section of route 8 and to revitalize the Clearview Mall area. Malls around America have been crumbling into rubble, but there have been places that have found a way to capitalize on the unused space. People have been able to transform what their old malls are used for, and we need to think outside the box in the same fashion to keep areas of commerce alive in our community.
As a supervisor on the board elected by you, I know I can represent your interests. I believe you, as a person who is a pillar in our community, should have more say in what happens throughout the township and that starts with more transparency.
